FOREWORD

Malacca High School is 180 years old in 2006 and as an old pupil of Malacca High School from 1969 to 1975, I feel that Malacca High must have a virtual interactive network to connect past and present students of Malacca High throughout the world.

Over her illustrious history, Malacca High has produced thousands of students who are scattered around the world. Principals and teachers who have worked, taught her students and walked the corridors of Malacca High, will feel proud that the School has educated students of caliber that are transforming the world to be a better place.

With our roots and characters firmly nurtured during our formative years at Malacca High, we are what we are today and this website is designed to provide a virtual platform for all former students, young and old, to interact, share and re-live their happy years they had while in the School.

I certainly hope former pupils will pen their experiences, comments and feedback to us so that we can improve this site from time to time. As our School motto, “Meliora Hic Sequamur” clearly states “ Here We Strive for Better Things”, and we hope to do the same at www.malaccahigh.net.

For former MHS pupils who want to network with fellow professionals and provide their services, we hope to provide a private network site in the future.
