Today is WORLD TEACHERS DAY and we should honour our past and present teachers who have nurtured us during our primary and secondary school days.
Without our dedicated teachers, we will not be what we are today. All of us are indebted to them for all their effort in educating and teaching us the knowledge we need to comprehend for our challenges ahead.
To our teachers, past and present, we thank you for your tireless effort, dedication, patience and wisdom in inculcating and teaching us the values of life and the importance of education.

Perhilitan swoop to save wildlife
BERNAMA
Department of Wildlife and National Parks law and enforcement division officer Celesriano Razond with several pythons seized from a man at Bukit Merah, Perak.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) seized wildlife species and leather bags in three operations on Monday and Thursday.
The department's law and enforcement division chief, Dr E. Sivanathan, said the first raid was on a wildlife park in Perak on Monday.

MAHSOPA TO HOLD CASUAL MONTHLY GATHERING AT SHAH VILLAGE HOTEL, PJ

MAHSOPA will be holding their casual monthly gathering for all MHS years at Shah Village Hotel, Petaling Jaya on the first Wednesday of each month beginning November 2008.
Former Malacca High students, teachers/principals and MAHSOPA members who wish to meet up and have a chat on a casual basis can do so.
MAHSOPA hopes to make this function into a successful event whereby former Malacca High students can look forward towards it monthly.

16TH. SEPTEMBER OF EACH YEAR is an important date for all Malaysians.
On the 16th. of September 1963, Sarawak and Sabah formally joined the Federation of Malaya to form MALAYSIA.
So, for all Malaysians, this is the 45th. year of Malaysia founding.
All Malaysians should be proud and united to defend Malaysia in good and bad times. We have come through these 45 years and we should see Malaysia celebrates her 100 years of founding in 2063!!!
Class of 1966 Gathering

The Class of 1966 batch had a gathering on August 18 at the Damansara Village.

About 20 of us showed up,some with their spouses.

The guest of honour was Mr Goh Keat Seng,our former Form Master,and his wife.
COUNTDOWN TO 51ST. MERDEKA CELEBRATIONS
The month of August each year is a special month for all Malaysians. At the stroke of midnight of 31st.August 1956, Malaysia or Malaya then, became an independent country. We received our Independence from Great Britain after years of being a colony of Great Britain.
On 31st. August 2008 this year, we celebrate our 51st. Year of Merdeka. Many challenges lie ahead for all of us Malaysians as we strive to be a develop country by 2020 - a mere 12 years away.
