1st. February 2010
MAHSOPA 1st. Family Visit for 2010 was successfully held this morning. A delegation of 11 MAHSOPA members and their family members visited the largest South East Asia lowland farm at Semenyih. Hosted by ex-MHS pupil, Dato' Halim Ali, we were met up at the farm at about 10.00am.

Dato' Halim, the owner of the flower farm briefed us the operation and workings of the flower farm.
His flower farm venture started in 1989 and has operations in Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore and UK. His company has been supplying fresh tropical flowers for landscaping works over the years.
With the size of the current farm at 50 acres, his farm is the largest lowland flower farm in South East Asia. Through this hard work, determination and living up to the Malacca High School motto of "Here We Strive for Better Things", Dato' Halim has managed to be successful through his untiring effort.
MAHSOPA wishes to congratulate him for his contribution in nation building through his flower venture.
