PTA to hold Food and Fun Carnival tomorrow
BUKIT BARU - The Parent and Teacher's Association (PTA) of St David High School will hold a Fun and Food Carnival in conjunction with its 50th anniversary celebration this Saturday.
Its president Adillah Ahmad Nordin said Melaka Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam will launch the carnival at 2pm on that day and there will be something for everyone at carnival which is happeninig on Saturday, 27 June 2009 during a press conference yesterday.

YESTERDAY was Teachers Day. A day of celebration and reflection, a break from politics and more politics.
Scan through the dailies, news portals and blogs, and one sees politics end to end.
Our daily lives seem to revolve around politics. It will be another three years at least before the next general election, but politics is very much on everyone's mind. It is already 14 months since the last election but we are still grappling with issues emanating from the results of that one.

Latest information received is that Malacca High School has made it into one of the latest batches of Cluster School in Malaysia. This good news is confirmed and Malacca High School has been informed. At the same time, Malacca High Alumni Network members are very proud of Malacca High School being included as one of the Cluster School in Malaysia.

With the recent outbreak of influenza A(H1N1) in Mexico and the spread of the flu to other countries, everyone must be vigilant and alert to combat this swine flu.
WHO (World Health Organisation) has issued a FAQ on this Flu.

A MEETING WITH FRANKIE TAN IN MELAKA
6th. April 2009
On Friday night, 4th. April 2009, Robert Lim, Social & Scholarship Chairman of MAHSOPA and myself, had a casual meeting with ex-Malacca High School student, Frankie Tan at Majestic Malacca.
Frankie, as you know is committed to cycle his trishaw from Melaka to Penang on 6th. June 2009 for four charities. He is busy training for his quest and as the event is just about 2 months away, he and his friends are also busy mapping out the route from Melaka to Penang.

STPM - Melaka High School strikes it big!
BANDA HILIR - Melaka High School (MHS) has struck it big when 14 of its candidates for the Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examination scored straight As, making it the best school in Melaka.
Two of those scoring straight As from the school were from the Arts stream while the remainder from the science stream.
State Education Director, Isa Abu said other than MHS, six other schools also produced students
with straight As results. A total of 26 students in the State had achieved straight As results.
