MHS Anniversary, the publisher of "Our Story - Malacca High School 1826 to 2006" recently held a scholarship award ceremony to 9 Malacca High students. The donation was from the sales of the MHS Book published in 2006.
Attached is a photo taken at the Equatorial Hotel, Malacca on Wednesday 18th February 2009.

The photo was taken in conjunction with the scholarship awards made to 9 students amounting to RM22,000 donated by MHS Anniversary on behalf of the Book Committee.

Trishaw man to raise funds for 4 charities

MELAKA RAYA - Old boy of Melaka High School, Frankie Tan now in his career break is determined to make it to Penang on a Melaka trishaw for a good cause.

Tan shared with members of press near here yesterday that he bought the trishaw from a friend and wanted to take his grandmother for a ride around Melaka World Heritage City.

Unfortunately his grandmother passed away last January but he decided to optimize his trishaw to

Record Anderson School's History - Hishammuddin

IPOH, Feb 16 (Bernama) -- Sekolah Menengah Anderson and its old boys have been urged to record the school's history in conjunction with its centennial celebration.

Former judge and old pupil of Malacca High School has been appointed to sit in the Judicial Appointments Commission announced by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Ex-High Court judge Tan Sri L.C. Vohrah studied in Malacca High School and rose to prominence as a former High Court judge.

MAHSOPA will like to take the opportunity to congratulate Tan Sri L.C. Vohrah in his new appointment as one of the members of the Judicial Appointments Commission.

Following the successful MAHSOPA Annual Dinner 2008 held last April 2008 at One Bangsar Banquet, MAHSOPA is going to hold a Grand Annual Dinner in 2009.

MAHSOPA intends to hold a 100 Tables sit down Dinner for 1000 persons. Former Malacca High School Alumni students and their spouses are invited to attend this auspicious and grand event.

Tentative Date: Saturday, 22nd. August 2009, 7.00pm onwards.

Attire : Smart Dressing

Tentative Venue : Sime Darby Convention Centre @ Kiara.

The Annual Chinese New Year Eve gathering of the Gen46/8 (Class of 1966) will be held at the usual venue of the Equatorial Hotel Malacca on Sunday January 25,2009 from 8.30pm onwards.

Please make an attempt to show up,even for a few moments,to catch up with old classmates and friends. There is no fixed programme and you can come and go as you wish.
